The research group "Laboratorio de Investigación en Formación y Profesionalización" Profesiolab (SEJ 059), is an interuniversity and multidisciplinary group. It integrates researchers from Andalusian universities active in the Andalusian Research Plan PADI and external collaborators from other prestigious Spanish and international institutions such as UNED, University of Barcelona, University Reims-Champagne-Ardenne (Fr), University of Los Lagos (Ch), University Andres Bello (Ch), University Wisconsin-Madison (USA), University of the Arts (Ar), Middle East Technical University (Tr).
Although the founding nucleus started in the Department of Didactics and School Organization of the University of Granada, it has been strengthened with the incorporation of members from other departments and disciplines, which have broadened the horizons of research for the generation of new knowledge: Theory and History of Education, Methods of Research and Diagnosis in Education, Didactics of Musical Expression, Didactics of Foreign Languages.
Along with its own research, Profesiolab carries out its activity in the transfer of knowledge generated to society, through the organization of scientific events and national and international congresses, and the development of consulting, reports, training designs and useful products for institutions of Higher Education and educational research.
Profesiolab integrates active doctorate professors from non-university levels, essential collaborators in the development of applied research projects and disseminators necessary for the transfer of educational research.
In the dynamics of Profesiolab it is very important to give the opportunity to junior researchers to progress in their training, start their academic career and professional development by expanding the existing ones and opening new lines of innovation and social and educational research. To promote the transfer of the scientific contributions of junior researchers, we actively promote the publication of the results of their research in indexed journals and national and international publishers of the highest level.
